You're probably wondering why I keep abbreviating the band's name.. the answer is simple. I want to. Anyway, they have referred to themselves that way several times online."The Meaning (Of Love)" is a very, very good song. I said so the first time I heard the track, and I stand by that today. It's a great synthpop track in the classic sense of the word, with a bouncy and dance-friendly bassline & beat, twirling and swirling synth lines over a really addictive chorus. The Video that is included on this release is pretty neat, too.However, the rest of the doesn't quite live up to the standards set by the title track. The remixes: The frozen mix at times seems to want to be a Drum & Bass mix (which it does ok, but D&B just doesn't fit the song). The Deigo R Video edit of the track stays very faithful to the original - in fact, at times it's just about indistinguishable. The Bobby Clark mix had only one flaw - the Cricket-like chirping sound that is repeated throughout the most of the mix is tiring (to put it mildly). But otherwise, it's a really cool mix.The two b-sides: Well, "The Collective Song" and "Let It Rain".. they just aren't as good as the title track. It's not that either song is bad, per say.. it's just that they fall short of the high standard set. Of the two, "Let It Rain", is definitely the stronger song. "The Collective Song" sounds like it was recorded in a hurry - the sound quality is sub-par, and it just seems hurriedly arranged.

Overall, while I love "The Meaning (Of Love)", the rest of this Ep just really didn't do all that much for me. Plastic Org. People have a lot of potential, and have proven they can write awesome synthpop songs. They now need to prove that they can write a whole album of high-quality songs like TMOL.
